Fortunately, my third day in Acadia saw better conditions.  The weather cleared dramatically overnight, so I expected a bright and clean sunrise.

I was out of the motel room well before sunrise and decided to not go to the typical Otter Cliff location, knowing that there would be many photographers there.  Instead, I chose a location that would give me an image of the cliffs where I wouldn’t have to contend with lots of other people.

The image above is one of many I made of the cliffs that morning, and is one of my favorites from this session.
